2009 NCAA Championship Thriller

Tune-up Tournament - Saturday

The 6th annual Middle School Tuneup started with pool play in the Chippewa and Cherokee Divisions. Newcomer Malibu established itself as a favorite in the Cherokee division with a 3-0 record, while last year's runner-up, Earl Warren did the same in the Chippewa division. The surprise of the day came from the defending champion Mustangs, who ended the day at 0-3, losing each game by only one goal.
